Hello !!! :waving:
So... I need to lose weight, and you have heard all that before so I'm going to keep it short and hopefully a little interesting? :rant:
I want to lose about 20 pounds so its not a lot but I really need you guys help! I can not do anything in a routine or I feel horribly sorry for myself and give up! :leaving:
BUT NOT THIS TIME!! :newangel: . I will try my best I promise !! I am starting next Monday!
I want to ask everyone what exercises can you do with your dog other than just jogging?
And as the title says I will try my best to motivate you guys if you need it so we can all be happy and reach our goals together! :party:

Good luck, 20 pounds, you can do it!

As for exercising with your dog? Frisbee, chasing him round,
But jogging seems the best for you and the dog, most dogs love running.
 
Wow thanks guys for all the support! My "plan" if you can call it one is to cut out chocolate and sweets ice-cream all that and sodas and just exercise everyday.
But I'll have one cheat day every month haha. For my height and activity level I am planning I should need about 1300 cals a day?
I must admit yesterday was quite busy but I did 10 hard minutes on my bike.
It is a lovely day today so I am going out running or what I actually do sitting down on benches every 5 minutes :) I am open to suggestions and please tell me what exercises you like/enjoy doing.
 
walking with a dog also helps, I've been walking with my dog everyday for 1 months and half and lost already 44 lbs ( just walking )
 
Cutting out sodas seems to be one of those quick and easy changes that can really make a difference! Were you drinking a lot of them? I haven't done so great with cutting out sweets so I can't help you there yet :) I just run more so I can keep eating them, haha.

It's nice to see someone who's just looking to tone up and slim down a little. I'm in the same boat, I really just want to feel better about the choices I'm making. You can do this, just keep making small changes and stay active!
 
Hi Laura, no I wasn't drinking them a lot maybe 2-3 times a month? But every little helps right? I'm just trying to eat better. My diet wasn't horrendous but a daily dose of chocolate (or two) was in there :)
So what I mostly ate today (can't remember everything)
Piece of toast with cucumbers, 4 fish fingers and spicy potato wedges (love that stuff) and for dinner I am goint to eat an apple , a pear and we'll see what else there is. Not very hungry just now.
I drank a lot of water and didn't eat chocolate so I'm happy with that.
Walked a lot today and a bit of sprinting in between. :willy_nilly: My legs are aching a bit just now :)
At this rate I think I can keep it up till next summer to lose the flab and I have to purchase weights because my dog isn't too happy about being lifted up and down :) Thank you everyone for reading . x

I just did 5 miles on the bike and then 5 minutes of push ups, sit ups and leg lifts... woo!
And the bike says I burned 75 calories... I don't believe that haha
I'll do a full update post tonight. x

Good Morning everybody! I was very tired so didn't do an update. Here is what I did yesterday.
I had a sandwich for breakfast and another sandwich for a snack later.
I skipped lunch and I had a rice and veggies and ehmm spicy wedges .. AGAIN.
I bought rice cakes and they are really yum! Had that and a "mini" butter croissant and lots of watermelon.
Think I did pretty well haha. I said in the previous post what I exercised and again I did a lot of walking.
I'll do an update tonight as to what I did and ate. I have decided my goal is to do 10 miles on the bike everyday. Wish me luck x
Oh and I was at the pet store the other day and there was this GIANT MASSIVE RABBIT and it was sleeping and snoring lol.
There where also chinchillas and they look so cuddly :)

I weighed myself today and it seems I have lost 2 pounds . Verrrry happy.
Exercise: 6.6 miles on the bike which was 100 calories burnt and 20 minutes in total. But I was swinging my arms so I can to believe I burnt more :)
It was too hot to get sweaty outside today so ...
I kept the diet quite clean today . I had muesli with a chopped banana on top for breakfast. Soup and rice cakes for lunch and dinner. I'm going to have some fruit later. Overall feeling happy :) I'm hoping the weather cools down a bit but the weather man said it would be even hotter next week :(

I enjoy Moderately intense workouts (for my level :p ) that can keep my heart rate up without too much stress on joints/limbs. I have also been doing a kick boxing workout and i really enjoy it, but it is insane (for my level, again) and uses all my energy. :sifone:

If you can't get out because of temperature, may i suggest doing some activity in-doors? You can try dancing, jumping rope, climbing stairs (if you have stairs) or any kind of exercise will do just fine, just try to find something appropriate for your level.

If you don't know what to do, you can always look on the web, especially on youtube. There are hundreds of free exercises to choose from.

What I ate today:
Breakfast: A mini croissant (130cals) a piece of bread with salami (150 cals)
Lunch: Muesli. (about 350cals with the skimmed milk?)
Dinner: Pieces of aubergine (zucchini) with batter and SPICY WEDGES I KNOW AGAIN! :)
For snacks I had a banana and a pastry thing which was 200 cals (It was too tasty to resist)
Exercise:
I walked a lot today and exercised for about an hour today.
Did running sprinting and 30 or so push ups all in all oh and 3 minutes on my bike.
I'm very tired but I think I did pretty well. But I have a confession to make. Yesterday I got sweet cravings and ate quite a bit of banana chips :doh:
