Hi,
my names Becky and I live in the Midlands. After a lot of various weight loss methods I decided on a gastric balloon which I had inserted on Monday this week - what a bad idea for me. After 24hr of severe vomiting I was readmitted for 3 days on a drip. Finally home now but so, so bloated I can hardly sit upright. I have PCOS and after no monthly for over a year, you've got it - the curse has arrived at the same time to double my uncomfort.
Can anyone tell me how long I should feel the bloatedness for and also when I can stop the antisickness as they are making me so drowsy.

Hi Bex, a fellow newbie here!

I am sorry I can't answer your questions, but just wanted to say hi and tell you that I hope you can sort it out, it must be horrible for you. I only know one person who has had WLS, and that was banding, they have lost a huge amount, but it was tough on her in the beggining too, she was very sick for a while, perhaps it is part of the process??? have you discussed your concerns with your surgeon?

heya,
sorry to hear about the problems your having. unfortunately i know nothing about the surgery aspect but there's a section in the forum titled "weightloss with surgery". you may be able to find more people on there who've used surgery and hopefully get some answers. all the best xoxo
