Hi guys,

I got out of shape because of a lot of work and a lot of stress to boot. Back when I was still in school, I used to lift a lot of weights so some muscle mass is still in me but when I started working, I became a fat blob!

I've been a 'lurker' in most forums, trying to learn a lot and because I'm back to 165 which is the weight I'm most comfortable in, the weight in which I feel really fit and sharp, I decided to finally join some forums such as this one so that I can somehow give back to the community.

So, how did you lose the weight?

Well the hardest thing for me to do was to actually start to actually commit to losing weight. Once I had that done, I got the ball rolling.

I did things slowly, taking away first the softdrinks, then the chips, replacing them with healthier things such as water and tuna sandwiches (with low fat mayo).

But if you ask me real important part is the goal setting and everything before actually starting...once I had that particular foundation then it got started for me.

I actually wrote a report on my newsletter about some of my thoughts on it but I don't think I can put out the link right here. You can check out my profile but then again am i supposed to say this in a post? Sorry if i offend any of the admins
 
Yup, I'm thinking of coming up with a journal here on the forum. I have to gain some weight then shred myself up, as of now I'm not at all happy with my current strength :)
