new and need help

Hi there, My name is Mandy I am going on 31, mother of 4 and wife of 11 yrs. I am 5"9 and 240lbs. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. I tried counting cals, did the low carbs thing, worked out 5 days a week, and NOTHING!! What am I doing wrong? I see so many of you have that are doing so good. Can you give me some tips? I so need to lose 70 lbs, but I just dont know how.

Poor thing, you sound frusterated. We've all been there. I'm sure your doing nothing "wrong". Maybe you just weren't ready yet. you know?

I truely believe most diets (i'm talking jenny craig, or counting cals, not cabbage soup diets or what have you) will work, as long as you stay committed to it.

Loosing weight comes down to calories in vs calories out. Eat less, move more. Its that simple really. Now, doing it is another thing all together, i understand.

Pick a diet that works for you, I can help you find one if you want, and come back here for support! Maybe all those other times you didnt' have support like you'll get here.

I dont know what to do any more, one place tells me I should eat only 2000 cals and another said like 1800. LOL I dont even eat THAT MUCH in a day. Yes I do sittaround all day or clean house and take care of kids, and then I work at night. I dont go and work out at the gym like I once did due to getting off work so late and being so sleepy the next day. I do have 3 or 4 work out videos I can do during the day and get the kids to do them with me. But as far as getting to go the the gym again, I dont think there is a way to do so.
I guess I am confused on how to eat. This is what my day looks like, not the best but here it go's...... coffee and more coffee(lol am hooked to it) no breakfast (I do try sometimes, just not hungry in the a.m.) lunch something small like a sandwich or soup, I guess what ever I make the kids to eat ( nothing fried!!) and for supper.. meat veggies/salad. I do drink alot of water during the day and I DO NOT drink any soda at all!
I know I dont eat to much, heck I can go all day with out eatting. Maybe I am not getting the right amount ( to little), maybe I just dont do enough moving, maybe I just have no clue at all?!
I do know one thing... I DONT have any suppert or help. So I will take all I can get here!
