New and looking for some motivation

Hello everyone,


My name is Matt and I am 20 years old, 5'11" and currently 255 lbs. I am not new to the weight loss scene, I have been struggling with it for my entire life. I started college last year and at the time was 326 lbs and very unhappy. Over the last year and a half I have joined a gym and have been watching what I eat and got down to 250 lbs. Now that I am out of school and back at home the temptation of eating is even greater since there is always food in the house and I am finding it hard to get back on the weight loss train, hence the five pound increase. I am really looking for someone who wants to lose weight together so we can push each other and keep each other motivated. It would be great knowing there is someone out there to talk to when I am struggling and want to eat just to keep me motivated.


I currently use a version a Weight Watchers. I am not a member of the organization, but have been in the past, and just use the same rules and point values that I used back then to help me with portion control and calorie counting now. I also go to the gym 6 days a week for at least an hour combining weight lifting and cardio training.

You've achieved a lot already... but of course you want to push forward! :driving: Any chance of finding a buddy at the gym you go to, or living near enough that they can start going to the gym?
