Good for you drawing a boundary around your personal life! I think the folks that commented on the ultimatum just didn't get how much love was behind that drastic move. You are very blessed to have someone that genuinely cares.
Looking at the issue at hand, all that yo-yo dieting, with your weight fluctuating up and down is pretty tough on your system. It’s tough too when you’re in college and eating cafeteria foods. You can pat yourself on the back big time for quitting soda pops for over 3 years. They are a major source of fructose that creates a real weight challenge. Water is the best drink of all.
I’m really into super foods that will feed your brain. Once you give your brain the building blocks it needs to thrive, your mood will improve along with your motivation.
As for feeling ashamed, we’re all our own worst critics. If our friends treated us the way we treat ourselves we’d ditch them immediately.
You’ve already received some great suggestions, like keeping track of what you’re eating. This might very well turn out to be a very enjoyable journey!
