New and hoping I can get help

Hi, I am also new with this forum and found it when looking for healthy weight loss advice. To make things short, I am 24 years old, have struggled with weight my whole life and it was really due to lack of understanding of healthy eating choices and portion control.

Two years ago, I found myself as a 5'2 woman weighing in at 207 lbs and decided this excess weight had to go. I had completely changed my demeanor, began to walk everywhere, exercised with a personal trainer (who has been incredibly helpful and supportive) and went on the Dr Bernstein diet. The diet does work in terms of losing weight, but the problem was that my blood pressure due to the lack of calories was too low. At one point I measured in at 90/20 and realized I did not feel good. The diet caused me to lose my gall bladder, amongst losing weight.

I have now begun a different resolve. I do not want to go back to the dr Bernstein diet. I now weigh at 147 lbs and my goal is to weigh in at 115-120 lbs, which is respectively speaking, the weight I ought to be for my height and I am looking for advice and hope that over the next four and a half months, I can make somewhat of a difference. I fully understand that weight loss the normal way takes a lot of diligence, effort and time, but I would prefer to do this the proper way and not hurt my body any longer and feel weak and unhealthy.
