New and already grateful for WLF! (Any advice for the new kid?)

Hullo, all~ Nice to meet you, I'm Jae. I've always been a bit on the heavy side, but over the past few years I've really let things get out of control. I was always good at finding excuses to put off losing weight -- I was bit intimidated, I think. But then a few weeks ago I stumbled across this forum and decided that if so many people can make such incredible changes, surely I can at least improve a little. And I'm down almost ten pounds since then! It's not much compared to what some of the people here have managed, but it's a start. And now I have a plan, which I think is really going to help.

So... thanks, WLF! I'm hoping to stick around for a while; I think being accountable, even just to strangers on the internet, will be good for me. If anyone's reading this, got any advice on how to get the most out of the forums? I was thinking about starting a diary; it's alright for new people to jump in there, right?

Cheers~

Hey BlueJae, welcome to the forum!

It's definitely alright for new members to jump into the Weight Loss Diary section - in fact, I tell people to do it quite frequently :)

Good luck to you!
