Hi everyone!!

I am Agatha! I am very interest in meeting people thru this forum that stat motivated with me to loose weight and gain health. I am in my unhealthiest stage ever in my life. My weight is 216 and my height is 5' 7".

My biggest problem: I am a Coke Cola Addict and a Mc Donnalds frecuent buyer. I am aware of it and want to change that. Also I get frustrated everytime I loose a couple of weight and desperate and just do not continue with the hardwork. I just have a lack of discipline.

I am a very friendly mom of one. He is 10 years old. I have a lovely husband in a very good shape by the way!!! Please give me some tips and support to me thru this process that happen to be the only thing I can't accomplish by my own. All the help is appreciated.

I will start tomorrow with a Detox that I bought in a Healthy Food store. A 7 days Detox system. I will start drinking water, a thing that I forget to do everyday. I will eat salads and meat. High protein and only good carbs. WATER, I need WATER!!!

Thanks for reading. I am desperate. My birthday is in June. I have three months to accomplish at least 20 pounds less. What do you think?

That sounds very do-able :) Good luck! And welcome to the forum! Be careful about spending a ton of money on "detoxes". Just drinking water at home and making healthy choices and exercising is enough--Don't buy into the "diet plans". You'll drop pounds but most tend to put them straight back on after doing cleanses and detoxes.

Your reply means a lot to me. I really need support. Don't worry I won't be spending money in detox. It is just the first time I will try it. Just to start fresh. Any recomendations of things that helped you loose weight? I have trouble sticking to the plan, if you understand what I mean. But really, I need to do this. For me, my health and my emotional health. I don't want to start summer in this weight.

I want to know how to maximize the use of this forum for support and get good ideas from people like me. I hope that more people reply and read and share with me their feelings.

Soda addict

:hurray:I am right there with you i am a mtn dew addict i drink 6 to 8 cans a day and am worried that i will not be able to survive with out all that caffeine. I am going to keep my fingers crossed for me and for you that we can quit the soda. My sister gave up soda and lost 5 lbs in a month without changing anything else. I know we can do it too!!!

Thanks for your reply!! Only a soda addict understand another one lol!!! It is very bad!! This is something I need to do. It is time!! I am only 32 and I feel I am wasting the best time with my husband and my son. I sometimes don't want to do activities because I feel ugly and I don't have nice cloth to wear because I refuse to buy more big things to wear. Recently I started a master degree and it was the best decision ever. I have the best grades and that made me feel that if I can do that it is time to tackle my weightloss. Please keep reading and posting. I will create a diary to share thoughts and feelings thru all the experience. I hope that with my determination and all of your support I will conquer my fears and my lack of discipline.

Start with cutting down a little, sounds like you have a good plan. My Dh's bd is in June too. Water helps to keep your body clean.
