need to lose weight

Hey guys i need help trying to loose 15 pounds i am 16 years old and i weight 185 and im 5''11 i think my problem is that im not watching what i eat its like im hungry all the time.... for my age how maney calories should i have a day tomorrow after thanks giving im going to start my diet and stuff and start running.. but i think my main problem is i dont eat right im always hungry for the past 2 years i always skip breakfast im not sure if that has anything to do for it and i eat late at night..... my goal in a couple months is to loose 15 pounds and get my weight off and then start lifting....

can you guys help me

Im close to your age and want to lose weight also, Im involved in my school's rowing/crew team which involves alot of training such as crunches, running, etc. and of a course wacthing your wieght some. You said that you sometimes skip breakfeast if I were you I wouldnt do that. I was reading a cereal box and it said that people who usually breakfeast weigh less than ones who skip breakfeast. If you dont want to eat a full breakfeast you might want to have like a yogurt or a yogurt-smoothie or a cereal bar with a yogurt. It might be little high in calorie range but it gives you a good breakfeast and you might not be as inclined to eat more at lunch b/c you wont be as hungary as you would if you didnt eat breakfeast
 
don't skip breakfast and don't eat heavy late at night. try to eat good food throughout the day so you keep you glucose levels more even instead of spiking all over the place. don't eat junk or high fat foods and make sure you are getting enough fiber(most ppl don't). just try to make good choices on what you eat.
 
I know Jenn has already said this in this thread, but since it's such a good point, I'm gonna say it again: eat breakfast. And eat a good one. This has really helped me. I was in a period where I wanted to lose weight, ate little breakfast, little lunch, which kept me hungry during the entire day. Which resulted in me overeating at dinner or in snacks.
Now I do eat a good breakfast and a normal lunch it keeps me filled up during the day.
 
Hi, im in need of serious help. My name is Cleannie Henry well you can call me cleo. Im 16 and way about 175 about there. And i've been trying to lose weight for so many months now. My family is big breed and many o fmy relatives are big. I don't want to fall within the same bracket. My goal is 140 and so far my feverent attempts haven't got me there. i've tried many crazy stuff and I believe loosing the weights gonna help me alot. im a hihop dancer and loosing the weight can really help me. I can't really talk to my parents about cause they just think im way out of line. I need help, cause this is slowly tearing my head apart.
