Need Tips to Lose Weight

I want to lose weight desperately but I am not able to keep my food cravings under control. Please suggest what to do? I’m a terrible snacker who just can’t keep his hands off fried food.
 
One thing that has really helped me is to always keep healthy snacks at hand along with a glass/bottle of water. Water should become your best friend right now… just keep chugging away and you’ll still end up with 0 calories no matter how many glasses you drink. Plus you will be surprised at how full you will get which in turn takes the “munchies” away. When you’re in between meals, tie that water in with a fruit with Greek yogurt or almonds with raisins and your hunger will subside. Once you get into this habit and maintain it regularly you will see how your cravings become much more controlled.
 
The only thing you need to realize is that your cravings are just in your head. Once you learn how to tell your brain to stop putting junk in your body, you'll learn how to lose weight.
 
Hello, for this subject i have also noticed that sometimes i can't avoid eating sweet chocolate. Is that something i really need or i can avoid somehow?
 
One thing I've found is having healthy snacks in the fridge, carrot sticks, celery sticks, veg crisps. Drinking plenty of water as well. There are also tablets I brought which helped to suppress my appetite x

Water has been great for me!! Drink a small glass before you eat, you'll feel fuller faster. Flavored water helps when plain water becomes boring.
I'm a snacker too...having healthy options for snacks has helped. I don't buy junk food anymore so if I do want to snack I can pick some thing nutritious.

Hi,
Don't try and change your diet too quickly. If you do you may struggle to stick with the changes because you'll have to instantly replace all the foods you're used to eating for unfamiliar healthy foods. Try making one small improvement to your diet each week. This will allow you to slowly but surely improve the quality of your diet and will help you to lose weight on a consistent basis without severe eating changes that you cannot maintain.

I been walking 3 miles a day for 1 month but a week and 1/2 i started slimfast and i have dropped 4 pounds
I have another month to go to see how much i can loose by oct 19 then i need to drop more weight by thanksgiving i will travel to paris then

I can tell you how I was able to curb my appetite completely within 3 days and lose 30lbs in a month if your interested
 
If you want to lose weight the first thing you need to do is to find a tracker, where you can count how many calories you can eat and do eat every day. That is the first step. Then you have to adjust your snacks to the calories that you have. This means that you choose snacks that are healthier for you. If you get really interested in tracking your food intake, the next step is to start looking at the macronutrients, meaning the carbohydrates, protein and fats you eat. You'll notice that if you eat properly (=enough healthy and satisfying food) you won't need to snack so much anymore.

I also try to remember drinking water when i want to snack food with a lot of calories. I have tried it more the previous weekend. I sometimes feel irritated because i think i am deprived of food but i will make a little patience until i feel better. It’s not so much the feeling that I want to eat something sweet but I just want to feel fuller. Now that I limit my food intake I don’t have the feeling of fullness that I used to have before. I try to overcome that but I think it irritates me. Anyway, I will make and this week patience to see if this need of fullness subsides and I don’t really need this.

hi Elena , try to drink water when craving comes , and to avoid it i suggest that you eat frequent meals and not to stick to the standard three meals ! taking your time when chewing will help too.

I started buying frozen yoghurt instead of junk food snacks . it tasted like ice cream but a lot less calories .

It is quite difficult to control food intake but i mostly consume foods high in protein and fibre. foods such as nuts are very high in fibre and they came full for longer. that why i like them, look for foods rich in fibre and you can't go wrong with them
