need some help

Hello all, I am currently at 5'11 200lbs and want to lose weight fast without using diet pills etc. I run a mile in length about 4x a week and have recently stopped drinking soda. Any ideas?

1. read stickied threads - start in nutrition, move on to On Topic then exercise
2. Get nutrition under control - KNOW exactly what you're eating... and how much
3. Move your body.

Fat loss is a matter of using more calories than you take in...
 
Hey,

something you might want to try is changing how you do cardio. Instead of just running, try to change it up.

ex..

- walk for 2 minutes then run/jog for 90 seconds.
- Ride a bike for 15 minutes then do rowing for the other 15

You do not have to use diet pills at all to lose weight! Just become a conscious eater. what I mean by that is make plans foru your meals, and just think before you put something into your body. Is it good fuel or bad fuel.

If you mix up your cardio and eat a bit cleaner you will notice imporvements pretty fast!
 
Increase your metabolism. Very important for weight loss!

Drink more water, eat regularly and more often but smaller portions, eat more fat burning foods. There should be a freshly started thread somewhere in this forum, if there is no one, I am planning to create a new one to share my experience - I lost over 50 Lbs with no pills or anything like that.

running 1 mile is not going to make you lose much weight maybe over a period of time but 1 mile is not much... might want to up it to about 20 miles + a week.
