Hello!
I am new to the forum, and looking for some guidence in my weight loss venture.
I started my diet/exercise regimen 12/26/2010-Starting weight: 227
I'm 5'3 (female)
I started with 20 min Cardio, and about 20 minute weight training, and keeping my calorie intake 1300-1500 per day. Some days more than others, I try to stay away from simple carbs as much as possible since I have PCOS, to avoid increased insulin resistance.
Today: 2/28/2011- (2 months later) I am 214ibs
I am glad I am heading in the right direction, but as hard as I am working you would think I would be at my 1st goal by now which was 200lbs.
My routine in the last three weeks has been 45-60 cardio daily, 15-20 minutes weight training (moderate pace) and sometimes doing a cycle class 2-3 times per week to substitute the cardio just to mix it up.
Does anyone have any suggestions to increase calorie burn?
I feel some loss in my closes, and understand I am losing inches but the scale should be going down as well since I am considered "morbidly obese" in the eyes of the scale.
