Need some advice

Im not seeing the results I'm looking for right now. I have lost some weight, but not nearly as much as I thought I would with the amount of effort Im putting in.

On June first I was about 278 and now Im about 265. (I say about because I go up and down about 5lbs in a day)

For an example of what I eat, I'll tell you what I ate today.

This morning I had a bowl of cereal. (Vector)
I had left over stir fry for lunch. (mostly veggies and rice with a bit of lean pork) I think it was about 2 cups worth. I had a plumb for a snack and fish (sole 2 small fillets) and zucchini and cucumber for dinner. I also had a bit of cheese and crackers.

I do Cardio 6x a week on my eliptical for 40 minutes and I do weight training 3x a week for 1.5 hours (im with a partner and we do it at my house). Sunday is my rest day. I also cycle about once a week with friends.

I've been at 265 for about a month now. Any advice? I think my Diet is great. I eat 10 servings of veggies every day, I eat about 3 servings of meat and the rest is a bit of dairy and 8 servings of whole wheat and oats and rice.

Well your diet if far from "great." It's lacking in protein and fats.

That said, that should be the least of your concerns at the moment.

At your size, you SHOULD be losing weight with such a low food intake. Either:

a) you are kidding yourself when you say that's all that you eat and/or drink each and every single day. Remember, it's not the calories that matter this hour. Rather, it's the net net at the end of the week. Or the end of the month.

b) something's going on medically and you should see a doc

I am loosing weight, just really really slowly.. Maybe I'll go see a doc just in case though. I know I should be losing more. Maybe my portions are still too big. I have a hard time figuring out how much a decent size portion is.

Plug your intake into something like and let me know how many cals you're eating.

Ok here is what I ate, some stuff I have no clue cause it was not on the website.

Vector cereal (400 Cal)
Minestrone soup (250 Cal)
Necterine (60 Cal)
Salami slices (3-4 thin slices) no idea really.
Garden Salad w/ low cal dressing (150 cal)
Farmer Sausages 2 no idea but Im thinking 300-400 cal each.
Gatorade (120 cal)
Whey protein powder mixed in water (130 Cal)

That's what I ate today.

The cereal is a over estimated guess cause I don't know how much I ate, it was a small/medium bowl. The sausages are also a guess, they were really lean pork so im swinging toward 300 each.

between 1600-2000 Cal I guess. Really hard to count when things are not labeled and I can't find info anywhere on the farmer sausages.

I lost quite a bit of weight yesturday. I ate less then usual so I guess I must of been eating too much. I was eating a lot of healthy food, but the portions were too big. I need to figure out how to control portion sizes. If I can do 1600-2000 Cal a day, I'll be shedding pounds in no time.

I made a real effort to count calories yesturday so maybe I have to do that everyday.
