Hi all.

I'm fed up with the way I look. It's been so long since I really, truely needed to loose weight. I had a baby approximately six months ago and the baby fat needs to come off! I literally have no clothes that fit me properly due to bulges in areas that I didn't even know could bulge!

Please Please! I'm so desperate I need help and the motivation.

What motivated you? What kept you going and what was the last straw? Please help me.

I believe that my current weight is at 178. I don't want to weigh that anymore. I want to atleast loose 40 lbs, if i could loose 45 that would be great, but no more then that, then i would actually look anorexic or something of that sort. I'm just so unhappy, i need a confidence booster!

You need to find your own motivation...

Read around the forum and you'll find other people's answers but you need to come up with your own.

WHY do you want to lose weight?

Or better why do you want to stay fat?

Answer those questions and you'l be on your way.

Spend time reading and understanding the stickied threads around the forum - andwork on putting together a plan that you can stick with for the rest of your life...

I Have to agree, I've been yoyo'ing for many years, and eventually I found a diet and regime that this time, should keep me going for life. Its difficult sometimes... you know you want to do it, but sometimes you can lack the energy to pick yourself up and force yourself to do what you dont want to at the time.

But you need to. As has been said, no one else can do this for you... you have to want this enough to see it through to the end. I came here for support to help me get there, help me through the tougher times - and I guess thats what will be available to you here also. Here's hoping :)

Thank you. I just need someone who is willing to keep me on track is all. If i just have one person, that's all I need. I just need that little push.

That's interesting.

I've been training people for a long while and I have seen in many cases I act as that source of accountability more than an instructor at times. People figure they have to answer to me. They don't want to let me down. They don't want too look lazy. And there's the whole monetary incentive.... "shit, if i'm paying the guy, i might as well implement what he's saying."

But question for you:

Is that really all it would take for you to consistently adhere to this lifestyle?

If you can't do it for yourself, do you really think adding this 'one other person' into the mix will make the difference?

I'm not doubting and I'm not trying to back you into a corner. I'm genuinely interested in hearing your take.

Yes, it would, but I also want to do it for myself. I'm just tired of the way I look. I want to wear cute clothes and a bikini.

And if I had someone to do it with, they can just push me on the days i'm feeling 'lazy'. It's just a little push is all. But with all my friends working crazy hours and me being a new mother, it's just kinda of tiring to get around to it.

Today on may 29th, though, I did go for a walk/jog and stretched and did leg lifts...So I worked out for a total of an 45 mins. to an hour. figured to start slow so my muscles don't get all bejumbled. Don't want to jump in to fast.
