I recently saw a home gym mutli station - Competitor Home Gym with 100 lb. Weight Stack.
I have been comparing it and it's features against other similar items and I decided to get outside input.
PROs:has pretty much everything I want.(for my needs)
I'm not trying to bulk up, I won't need more than 100 lbs,
I would not have to buy additional bars and pulleys to do a decent workout right away and the price seems decent. ($194)
CONS: it's going to take up space .
And I looked at one of these set assembled, and the first thing that caught my eye was that the "cords" (whatever connects the pulleys & to the weights seems like it might not be that strong.)
that's just based on my opinion, I really don't know if that's the case.
And I would have preferred a leg curl that I could do laying down, but thats not a big deal.
I compared it to the Weider 8510 Home Gym ($249) and it has the same features pretty much except that the competitor model looks like it has a padded shelf for preacher curls which weider does not.
I dont know if you could add any accessories to competitor ; Im sure you could to weider. I don't know how long this item would last; weider seems to last.
anyay does anyone have any input on things I might not have considered?
or do you know anyone who has had any experience with this item.?Link below to the item.
I'm interested in something reasonablly affordable that would let me work all body parts at home, and that might last at least 2 years.
