Age: 18
Starting Weight: 265
Current Weight:250-260 (Sorry, no exact number because I vowed not to check my weight until the end of this month)
Height: 6 ft 1 inch

So at this point, I have been dieting for about half a month.
My calorie intake consisted of somewhere between 800-1200 a day.

I would run twice a day, 6 days a week, combining both periods of running in a day it would add to about 50 min-1 hour.

So with only half a month into this, I have lost enough weight to where I have had to buy pants 2 sizes smaller. At the same time I see fat lost on my face and my sides. Everyone who I haven't seen for at least half a month are giving me compliments noticing my weight loss.

So now, leading on to my problem. Most of you will tell me this is unhealthy. So I am now seeking advice on fixing this.

Here are the key points I am looking to get answered:

1 - I am planning on starting to go to the gym to work out. How many days a week should I do lifts, and how many days a week should I spend running?

2 - What lifts/aerobic exercises do you advise I do?

3 - With 1 and 2 answered, what should my calorie intake be? How much protein should I consume everyday?

For anyone who is able to help me with this, Thanks a lot!

your caloric intake for your current weight/age/activity level is entirely too low...

Reading is COOL - and since you've got cool in your user name - be cool and spend some time reading the stickied threads - especially in On Topic, exercise and Nutrition.. you will find the answer to an approximate amount of calories your body needs in your reading .... you'll also find some direction with your other questions

I'm with mal. You need to eat more. Especially if you want to start eating. Do a little research to find your caloric needs.

As for the weight training. Steve has a great stickied thread on lifting in the exorcise forum. Other popular beginning guides are;

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe, pretty much considered the bible of weight lifting. I recomend buying the book though because the program has been butchered on the web.

West Side For Skinny Bastards, just search

Stronglifts 5x5. Like Rippetoes but a little simpler. I have the ebook if you wanna pm me.
