Need help, I’m too over-weight

Hey everyone,
I am new to the sight and I need to lose some weight. I am about 90 Kg and am 16 years old. I just want to know what everyone has to say to help me lose 20 Kg by June. first off, is that a reachable goal?? I have other goals but first can someone answer that one for me??

Are you currently keeping track of calories? In my opinion, it's difficult to cut back unless you know exactly what you're taking in to begin with.. It may be interesting to know what kind of shape you are looking for and your ultimate goal to loose weight. You must check out the local site for an online solution.

Kilograms? I don't know how to think in kg!

Sorry, I am a clueless American when it comes to kg! If you want to lose weight, switch to whole grains, vegetables, lean protein, and the occasional fruit. Once you get the hang of eating healthy, then you can focus on portion control. Just take it one step at a time. Walking and jogging never hurt. The good thing about being so young is your metabolism hasn't slowed down yet - that should make weight loss a little easier - though not to suggest it won't be tough at times. Seek support on the site and good luck!

P.S. - The above - that is just my advice. There are a lot of ways to achieve the same goal. Also, I am currently losing about 1 pound (kg?) every 4-7 days or so. Weightloss is a slow process, but don't despair. After losing just a few kgs, you will feel so good about your achievement you will want to keep going and even a few kgs can make a difference in your appearance.
 
Sorry - one more thing

I have heard that healthy weightloss occurs at about a loss of up to 2lbs per week. SO - take the number of weeks you have until June (multiply by 2) and then convert to kilograms... that is a realistic amount to expect to lose. If that isn't the number you were hoping for, perhaps, you could reevaluate why it is so important to lose that amount by June. For example, would it still be worth the effort if you could lose that amount by August?
