Need advice on losing as much weight as possible in 1 week

Hello,

I am brand new to this forum and excited to lose weight. I realize my topic seems crazy but I'm in a weight loss competition and we have 1 week left.

I should also tell you I started on Phenteramine (Adipex) a couple weeks ago and have lost 14 lbs in two weeks. I'm taking in limited calories since I started the medication, usually around 500-800. Typically I'll eat a Subway sandwich and light chips for lunch, 4 eggs for dinner no later than 7.

Would you recommend a different diet for rapid weight loss? We weigh in this coming Friday. I'm thinking of hitting the bike at the gym the next 6 days for an hour/day also. I currently weigh 221 and I'm 5'8.

I think you should ask yourself very hard questions about the importance of this contest vs the importance of your long term health and weight loss journey. Sure you could starve yourself for a week, dehydrate before the weigh-in or whatever... but what goal would that ultimately serve?

I don't know what YOUR answers to these questions are... just trying to help you question your real priorities,

Thanks for the reply, the goal it would ultimately serve is I would win $300. I'm not too concerned that one week of extreme dieting would impact my health in the long run, I'm extremely healthy otherwise. (blood pressure etc)


Does anyone have any suggestions on what to eat for the next 4 days? I need to show at least a 5-7 lb loss to stand a chance of winning. After this is over I will resume a more modest/sensible weight loss routine.
