Need Advice on Loosing Weight :)

Hi everyone :) I am trying to loose weight and need advice/suggestions. I want to loose weight but want to know what has worked for most people in this forum. I am at the point where I want to get back on track and get healthy again before I had my kids I was at my ideal weight and would like to get at least close to it again. I would like to know what daily meal plan and exercise routine would be the best start thanks :) :)
 
Hi, I'm approaching my goal weight and I have done it by counting calories (weight watchers points actually but it's the same thing), writing down everything I eat and upping my exercise, mostly by taking long fast walks. I try to make most of my calories come from natural foods that are low in sugars and fats.
There are plenty of threads on these forums where people daily post what they eat and what exercise they do. Read as much as you can especially the stickies and ask questions about any doubts that you have.
Start a diary and post in other people's diaries and you will soon have on line friends to support you.

The problem with your request is two parts really. The first part is you haven't given enough information. To calculate your BMR, we would need age, height and weight. We also don't know your usual daily routine (moderate activity, sitting all day in an office, etc).

The second part is a little deeper. We can't just tell you what to eat and do. You need to learn how to do these things yourself and this site has plenty of information to help you on that. Read the various stickies to get quite a bit of knowledge. This is something you hopefully want to do for the rest of your life. A diet 'plan' is only temporary. Changes in what you eat and, more importantly, how you look at food will keep that weight off. We will help you anyway we can but if you are looking for someone to tell you exactly what to eat and do, I'm sorry.
 
Thanks :) oh I'm not looking for someone to tell me what to eat and do I'm just looking for some ideas on a meal plan and an exercise routine, I was hoping someone would suggest something that I can add on to my daily routine, so far I have started going on long walks (hour +), I am 32 years old, 5 foot 5, and weigh 190 (ugggg let myself get this far) After having my kids (I have three) I sort of put myself last, I use to be active and went to the gym at least 5 times a week for 3 hours a day, then after my first child I just quit. My biggest downfall is coffee and juice I can drink coffee at least 3 times a day (double doubles :O )and juice (I don't even know how much I drink during the day), the past couple weeks I have cut back to having 1 small coffee a day and only put sugar in (was very hard but been trying my best) I loaded my fridge with bottled water and cut out the juice (hardest thing for me lol) I also loaded my fridge with veggies, I finally got myself motivated and also do the Wii workout which is going great.
