Hi, I am 16years old and needing to lose weight, i am 5'9 and 188 pounds (Not skinny at all, i got a big belly). Basically i need a routine that will help me build up muscle and slim me down, my goal is to be lean in the end with nice abs (Not to bulky) currently right now i am jobless but should be getting a job soon either at a place in town or with my dad (He works in construction so that should be a good workout if i work with him) but until then i am stuck without a gym membership, so i need a good workout i can do at home (I have no exercise equipment at home) involving my body weight.. bear with me though i am pretty weak i can do about 1 x 10 set of push ups and i can barely do any more, and i can push my self so you guys know i have a good motivation to lose the weight.

Thanks!! if you guys could please help me that would be great

(Will be posting in a nutrition section about my diet problems)

You could consider doing the 5bx program. This was developed in the 1950s for the Canadian RAF pilots who were stationed in places without access to gym facilities.

Wow, thats good you can do that. I can't even do one. I do wall pushups. You can always do some pilaties and yoga. Look at the library for books and even go on youtube.com for videos. Or even rent workout videos to do from the library if you live near one. Try jumping jacks, burpees, going up and down the stairs, dancing. Aim to be about 30-1 seconds each for one and alternate. Hope this helps...

Do some cardio like jumping jacks, burpees, going up and down the stairs, dancing. Before you do this. warm up lightly with cardio like marching in one spot for like 5 mins at a med pace. Do cathastaics like crunches, etc... Hope this helps..
