Lol, fair enough, Cate, and thank you :)

We'll see if it continues this way. I definitely would love to be able to state my weight as 65 kg. It's kind of in the back of my mind as a "on the podium" kind of moment; helps with the motivation.

Breakfast: lean pork meat (50 gr) and some veggies (150 grams). I fried it all, but I use non-stick pans, thus I don't have to add any butter or oil or anything else that would raise the calorie count.

Lunch: Steak 150 grams (I am getting sick and tired of steak, tbh, and I NEVER thought I'd say that) and veggies (full plate).

Dinner: Figure I'll go sausages or something. I need something else that steak. Hell, maybe even fish, and I hate fish.

I'm trying to do the "make the heavy meals be the earlier meals and go low on the afternoon food" strategy. So bigger breakfast and lunch, smaller dinner. Also, I eat with chop sticks. Makes it go slower; slow and mindful eating is a good way to eat, because then it gets easier to feel when you're full so you can quit early. No point overeating!

I'm getting in 2 strength training sessions a week now, over at the student gym. I focus a little extra on the problem areas, like core, shoulder and thigh muscles, which I know are kind of weak according to what the doctor said. I am a bit worried about how it goes to exercise strength with this kind of calorie deficit though, so I try to be extra careful and make sure I get enough protein on those days.

Last weighing showed 67.9.
So it's still going down, albeit slower. I remind myself that's normal, and move on.

Girlfriend is done with her exam on Thursday. That's 6 years of the university studies, coming to an end and her being crowned a licensed therapist. I deliver my assignment then, hence will officially be halfway through my own education. So we are celebrating. University accomplishment, weight loss... we got a lot to celebrate. We're going to go "nuts"; buy expensive cake pieces of various kinds, and then have a cake party; a bona fide cheat day where we just really enjoy ourselves! Looking forward to that cake day is what has kept my motivation up this week. I will very much earn my cheat day so that when I do enjoy myself, I can do so fully knowing I've been good and a) kept to my diet consistently and b) gotten exercise done regularly.
