I'm getting in 2 strength training sessions a week now, over at the student gym. I focus a little extra on the problem areas, like core, shoulder and thigh muscles, which I know are kind of weak according to what the doctor said. I am a bit worried about how it goes to exercise strength with this kind of calorie deficit though, so I try to be extra careful and make sure I get enough protein on those days.
Last weighing showed 67.9.
So it's still going down, albeit slower. I remind myself that's normal, and move on.
Girlfriend is done with her exam on Thursday. That's 6 years of the university studies, coming to an end and her being crowned a licensed therapist. I deliver my assignment then, hence will officially be halfway through my own education. So we are celebrating. University accomplishment, weight loss... we got a lot to celebrate. We're going to go "nuts"; buy expensive cake pieces of various kinds, and then have a cake party; a bona fide cheat day where we just really enjoy ourselves! Looking forward to that cake day is what has kept my motivation up this week. I will very much earn my cheat day so that when I do enjoy myself, I can do so fully knowing I've been good and a) kept to my diet consistently and b) gotten exercise done regularly.
