My Weightloss diary.

I think so.thing like what ur doing by posting a diary would be really good for me....what do u suggest? Should I post it on my forum, post it, or maybe even write it down? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:)

Personally I do both. I have a little notebook I take with me that I jot everything down in, and I try to post in this forum here. For my notebook I include a lot of quotes, workout things and stuff like that to help keep me motivated.

Your dinner sounds lovely but very expensive!
Sooo expensive! Do you think $25 is cheap?! My meals average a couple of £ each normally.. Sounds delicious though!

I actually have two servings left of it (maybe more). The fish was about $5 (since it was frozen but i made sure to check out the ingredients and what not) so over all I don't think it's that bad. I'm only buying for myself so I think that aides in the value maybe?

My wife and I had a short period where we tried to eat more of a gluten-free, low-carb diet (it didn't last, but we TRIED HAHAHA) and one of the things we made was cauliflower mashed potatoes. I thought they were pretty good, actually. Yeah, they're a little different than the usual mashed potatoes (obviously) but I genuinely liked them. And, the best part? Our son had NO idea he was eating cauliflower and maaaaauled his plate of food, HAHAHA.

I actually invited my friend over for dinner that night and she had like three bowls and loved it. It's about the same work as making traditional mashed potatoes which I like. Did you know that you can make a bread substitute with cauliflower? I thought it was pretty neat.

The hardest parts of dieting is sticking to it, it can be rather frustrating.

Hey hun - hope you're doing okay this week?

I have been!

With the holiday coming up its been really hard sticking true to the diet plan, even more so not having a job. I haven't been able to buy everything I want to, and instead am working with the bare minimum which has been really hard. I didn't eat much for two days because I didn't want to waste what I have, and it's even harder when my parents make offers to buy me food when it isn't healthy. Needless to say I have given in a bit, but I've been controlling portions a lot more then I used to.

I think falling back, and making mistakes is all apart of growing and learning. Best comparison is how an addict would behave, relapse is all apart of the recovery because you are attempting to change a behavior that has become second nature to you. Mistakes are apart of the journey, and as long as I acknowledge the mistake and dont completely give up, the battle isn't entirely lost.
