On 10 January 2011, I weighed a whopping 98kg. I was shocked and decided to do something about it pronto! I was also going through a very tough break-up and needed to do something for myself... something drastic (To prove to myself that I am not a complete loser
)
1) I ate less
2) Cut down significantly on unhealthy snacking from chocolates, crisps etc
3) I started making healthier food choices ( I even ate spinach and broccoli!!)
4) I started walking 45 mins every morning
5) I drank between 1.5 and 2.5 litres of water a day
By week 3 my clothes started feeling a little lose and fitted better.
I have just finished 6 weeks on this 'program' and have lost 6kg. I am not thrilled about this as I feel i put in more effort than the outcome. Also, with at least 30kg to lose, i need to lose a little faster.
