I have always been over weight, I dont know what it feels like to be small or wear clothes that i want to wear. I am 24 years old and i have 2 children. When i got married i weighed 210 lbs which was smaller for me. I now weigh 290lb. I refuse to get up to 300lbs. I signed my kids and i up at the YMCA last night so i wouldnt have an excuse not to work out and stay healthy. I participated in my first workout class this morning ( spin class) It was really fun and i really enjoyed the instructor. I have recently moved to CO from NC and i have gained about 10lbs since i have been here. I miss all of my family and i miss all the things that NC had to offer that CO doesnt. I am hoping to stick to the gym, lose weight and be a happier person.

Good luck on everything! I am missing the Colorado hiking so enjoy it while you can! :)

Just a quick thing to think about. There will always be an excuse not to exercise. Some days you will be tired. Some days you will be busy. Some days it will be raining or snowing. Point is, it's always easy to find excuses not to do something. What you have to remember is you will always have an even bigger REASON TO exercise.

life changes such as moving can have adverse affects on weight and eating habits. No excuse. Just keep up the good work and stay on track.
