Hi, I'm a 22 year old college student standing at around 5'11. I started my 7 week program on the 19th of February, 2013 weighing approximately 252 lb, 114 kg.
I joined a gym called Core Fitness here in Kuwait. It's a personal trainer kind of gym with the option of 2, 3, or 4 days a week. I joined 3 days a week with each session being 20 minutes.
I also began dieting a week into my program by cutting fatty foods, soda, fast food, and bread in general. I eat boiled eggs, turkey and chicken breasts, salads, tuna, and drink water and veggie blends and fruit blends. I also eat various fruits and have coffee every morning. The work outs are very intense and are non-stop 20 minutes. The first session had me gasping for air, I fell down 12 minutes through thinking I'd spent an hour working out. I lay down on the locker room couch for about 30 minutes before I was able to get up and to my car. Now it's been around 3 and a half weeks in and I'm able to finish the exercises and I actually enjoy the pain that comes with it. Today I weighed in at 240 lb or 109 kg. I feel like I can do more to lose weight. After my 7-week session is over I'm renewing my subscription and wondering if I should make it 4 days a week instead of my usual 3.
I'd love to get advice from anyone in this forum and especially love to get tips on how to stay motivated, keep my tummy satisfied, lose more weight, etc.
Also, I've been wondering if I should take any supplements like amino acids, proteins, or glutamine. Anything that can benefit me more and help with my goals in general.
Thank you very much for your time everyone and good luck with your goals!
