My supplement cabinet

Like Fuel, I was bored and thought I'd take a picture of my supplement cabinet. However, my digicam doesn't work unless it's hooked up to the comp so I took a pic of them in the comp room.

They are:
thyroset, DHEA, OSHA, Colloidial Silver, 30 Tomatoes, phosphatidyl serine, Tension RX, Health-Bac (probiotic), Zyflamend, DHEA (again), oregano oil, Stimerex ES, creatine monohydrate, CLA, glucosamine, collagen, liver clense formula, guggul, amino acids, GABA, adrenal formula, Super Seed (fiber blend), Omega 3s, wheat grass caps, Enhanced Energy multivitamin, Glucosamine/Celadrin/MSM, complete body clensing formula, multimineral, MSM

not shown...my proteins

No offence but from doing papers in nutrition you should be getting that from your diet. Why do you need all that on top with little or no benifit?

Unless you dont eat enough nutritous foods or something.

None taken. I don't take all that stuff all the time. A lot of the stuff I have you cannot get from a food source or eat enough food to make an impact.

Ex: OSHA is for whenever I feel a sore throat coming on, Zyflamend/Glucosamine-makes my joints feel great, Stimerex-ephedra, etc.

Working where I work you end up being a supplement collector.

Oh i gotcha now. I was thinking that was stuff you were taking everyday. Like say you were taking too much glucosimine = Slack ligaments = Rubber Band man!

DUDE evo. thats a sick lineup. Although, I don't know half the names. I have just protein powders and Functional Fatty Acids. What is the other top ones you recommend? Im looking for ones that could reduce inflammation, heal skin, cleanse, and just good shyt like that. Word. Loving that lineup.

Sorry for taking so long to get back on this.

As far as cleansing-oregano oil and/or a complete cleanse by Yerba Prima. For reduction of inflammation, I really like glucosamine for the joints or Arnica gel. Sulfur soap is really good for the skin. Other than fish oils, I recommend a multivitamin, multimineral, and a combination of glucosamine and MSM. I also am in favor of a wheat grass capsule or greens powder. And it def. wouldn't hurt to take extra vit E and vit C.

Heres mine:

ON Choco Mint, Tropical Punch, Vanilla Ice Cream, Extreme Milk Chocolate, Dextrose, AST Pro 32X, ON Creatine, Vitamin C, Fish Oil, Flax Oil

IMHO
u dont need all those supplements ,last week i was watching a story on a woman she was 50 and she had a similar cabnet like yours full of supps...she died mystereously, the reason was she used to take all teh supps she thought arent availabe in food,if one needed that many vitamins/supps,our forefathers couldnt survive more than 30 years of life, but they did,as compared to us they had a healthy life, and they lived alot many years and the average age rate was much higher than today.

but choice is yours:)

Actually people did not live longer back then. People live longer now than they ever did in the "early" days. The average life expectancy was around 25-30 years, whereas now we live to 80-100. The reason we live longer now is because we have better diets.

/\ /\ That's what I was thinking, isn't the life expectancy rate higher than it has ever been? (which is strange considering the garbage we eat, how lazy we are, and the junk in our environment) I guess the medical advances count for a lot of it.

But, people did get by just fine before the invention of protein powder, vitamins, and billions of other supplements.
