My Success with Chinese Dietary Principles

Hi. My name is Brad. I went through a surreal experience in February when I weighed 270lbs at the doctor's office. I had reached a point where I didn't feel like I was going to live more than a few more years. I'll be 40 in June, and I am not ready to die that young.

I began seeing an acupuncturist for my health because I had taken a business trip to Tokyo and Taiwan in January, and I noticed almost no overweight people. A few Japanese were chubby, but very few. I think I was the only fat person in Taiwan. I figured if their diet and health practices have been working for them for thousands of years, it would work for me. I have been eating according to the Chinese dietary principles for 2 months now, and I have lost 30lbs so far. I no longer feel like I'm going to die young. The first thing I noticed in Taiwan is that they eat more than I did and that it was very different than what we eat in the USA.

It is very easy to eat this way, and I am really enjoying it. I am losing 1/2lb per day without counting calories, carb, or fat, and no strenuous exercise. I don't consider this a diet. I plan to eat this way for the rest of my life.

Acupuncture has helped me a bunch with my shoulder (car accident), IBS, sinuses, feet, and hands. The dietary consult has changed my life. I still have about 70 lbs to go, but I am confident that it will come off.

Good luck to everyone else,

Brad
