My new journey begins, I need your help

Have eaten pretty well today. 2 pieces whole wheat toast at bkft. with "fake margarine", ate a banana between bkft and lunch, was on the run but ate a roast beef sandwich for lunch on whole wheat, went to the gym, on the way home I stopped and got a diet coke, i think they gave me real coke but wasn't sure, let the cup dry out after I was done and it was sticky, that pissed me off, anyway, I ate a banana and some low fat wheat thins on the drive home. Had a little vegetable beef soup when i got home. Weighed 224.5 this AM, up 2.5lbs from my lowest. Not too worried with my poor eating habits up until yesterday. Took the weekend off from the gym so i went in today and at least did a little. 6 sets for each bodypart I worked, chest, tri's, back and bi's. I then rode the bike for 30 minutes I think, maybe 35, then once the newbies got off the treadmills I cranked out 15 minutes on one of them(a treadmill, not a newbie). Will take pictures in the morning. Batteries were dead this AM so I've got them recharging right now. Shouldn't be a problem tomorrow. Maybe i'll be back down to 222 by then, we'll see. My wife's dog is having eye surgery tomorrow so no gym then. Will keep focused on my eating and will hit the gym again Friday. That will get me back on track. Next goal is 210 by the 1st week of February (after completing my entire 2nd month).

I posted pics in the picture section after my 1st month of training/dieting. I'm down 15 pounds. Couldn't tell a whole lot of differce at first but after looking closer at the pics I see my midsection is a bit thinner than it was and my lower belly is thinner in my side profile. Check 'em out and let me know what you think.
My wife's dog had eye surgery today so that took up the entire day. I ate some cinnamon life for breakfast, had an apple in between, had a chicken ceaser salad at olive garden for lunch with maybe 3/4 of a breadstick. Stopped at McDonalds of all places on the way home and ate a 1/4 pounder, no cheese and maybe 5 fries. I'm ready to go to bed, I'm done! I'm working legs and traps tomorrow so I'll post afterwards and let you know how it goes.
Next goal, 210 lbs by next pics on February 3rd or 4th. See ya, Greg

Ice storm, no one to pick kids up from school, dogs out of the yard, you name it, its happened in the last week. I've not been to the gym and have been fairly lax on my eating. I'm hitting the gym again tomorrow. Time to crawl back up on the wagon and get going again. See y'all later, Greg

Hell, it hasn't gotten any better yet. A million things to do and no time to do them. Still haven't gotten to the gym. I'll make it tomorrow and then hit it again on Monday. Diet is "maintenance" at best. Eating quite a bit but most are low fat, low cal choices. Hopefully I'll be back on track in the next day or two. Looks like the snowstorm missed us so that is a relief. Take care all, Greg

BACK TO NORMAL!!!! Well, more normal anyway. I got up this morning and didn't really want to eat breakfast. I made myself eat a bowl of raisin bran and took a banana with me which I ate about 11am. I finally got around to lunch at a customers mexican restaurant around 1:30pm. So, not great but I had a burrito, rice and beans along with a few chips and salsa.

Got to the gym at 4pm and worked chest and tri's, rode the bike for 22 minutes and the treadmill for 15.

I wasn't hungry when I got home. I finally ate a baked pork chop with about a cup of milk to drink. I'll weigh in the morning and see how far above 222 I am. I'm sure its 3-5 lbs. Nothing that I can't lose in the next couple of weeks.

Plan for the rest of the week: Wednesday - back, bi's, bike, treadmill. Thursday-legs, shoulders, bike treadmill. Focus on healthy eating.

Wow, life really isn't normal right now but I'm pushing through. I worked out Tuesday, missed Thursday. Traveled to Oklahoma city on Friday, arrived late, no work out. Got back on track Saturday, hotel gym, worked back and bi's. They had a stairmaster so i jumped on it for about 15 minutes then rode the bike for another 15. Got up this morning and went down and worked legs, shoulders and traps. Got on the stairmaster for 15 minutes, biked for 15 and then hit the treadmill for 10. Got home and grilled chicken, had scalloped potatoes (omitted fat from recipe) as well as green beans. My wife has now joined the "weight loss" kick so that should be even more motivation for me. Will keep everyone posted on the progress. See ya, Greg
