My names is V

Hello...I have a long story about how I have got to where I am today and I am going to give you the short version of that story...

I have been overweight for the vast majority of my early years. I have done every diet there is and I have done every weird thing that you can do around food.

Then one day I went to see a hypnotherapist who totally changed my life. Suddenly I was feeling OK around food, for the first time in my life I felt in control when eating. It was the most extraordinary thing I have ever felt in my life.

I changed so many parts of my life for the better that suddenly I had to share this thing with others. So I became a hypnotherapist myself and now I help people who are where I was.

Welcome to the forum, V. :) Just curious - How much did you lose after receiving hypnotherapy?

Of course I don't mind you asking - I am happy to tell you.I lost just over 60lbs in a year. Better than that I have kept it off.
I really recommend it but I know you have to be careful to find a good therapist. Good luck to you.

Well I'm doing pretty good on my own, but it's good to know there are alternative ways to help people lose out there. :) Thanks for the info, hon!

Hi V. New here too. Ive been hearing quite a lot abt hypnotherapy lately. Does it depend on the level of conciousness whether one could focus consistently before going through the therapy?...BTW nice to be here at the forum.

Hypnotherapy

Hi . New here too. Ive been hearing quite a lot abt hypnotherapy lately. Does it depend on the level of conciousness whether one could focus consistently before going through the therapy?...BTW nice to be here at the forum.

The idea is that you do not concentrate at all...concentration is something for the conscious mind and hypnotherapy is designed to train and teach your subconscious mind.

The trance state is actually a very natural state and is deeply relaxing and very pleasant. I would say give it a go and see what you think for yourself. Just be sure and find someone who is a good therapist....

Nice to meet you!
