Feel free to help with suggestions or changes but i think is is basically what I'm going to be eating while i loose my weight , I'm not a nutritionist and i know nothing really about nutrition so please just tell me if this is good, bad, what to change? and about how many calories would this be in a day?

8AM breakfast (depending when i wake up) : special k cereal with no milk and a glass of orange juice + multivitamin

10AM snack : apple or banana or baby carrots

12PM lunch : cold cuts turkey on wheat bread, apple or banana or baby carrots

2PM snack : low-fat yogurt, apple or banana or baby carrots

7PM dinner : chicken breast on a bun, salad (tomatoes, cucumbers and garlic croutons)

9PM : special k cereal no milk

Run it through Fitday () and see. From eyeballing it, I'd guess not enough calories and not enough fat - probably not enough protein, either.

get an account at

or one of the 100s of other food diary sites on the web..

werhe you can input what you're eating and it will tell you how many calories oyu've gotten and how those calories break down.

I's immediately dump the special k cereal and go for something with less sugar and one that actually has fiber.. your cereal should really contain no less than 5 grams of fiber per serving -more is better.

what cereal do you sugest then?

I personally like the Kashi Cereals -either the have a heart cereal - which is like a better tasting cheerios - or the go lean crunch -which is kind of granola-ish - a little sweet - actually do a half and half mixture of half of the go lean crunch and half the have a heart...

Fiber One makes some decent tasting cereals - a little too much sugar for my tastes but the fiber amounts make up for it.

Spend some time in the cereal aisle - reading labels... and find one that appeals to you...
