Hey everyone!
My name is Suzzy and when I woke up and was feeding my daughter this morning I came to a shocking realization that since her birth I have GAINED weight not lost.
I used the excuse of "oh I'm recoving from a c-section, it makes it harder to lose the baby fat", but 4 months down the line I am fully healed and still gaining. My biggest problems - not eating enough and when I do eat it is usually comfort food. My baby girl deserves better than a mother who is overweight and unable to run around and play with her. She deserves the best. I WILL lose this weight for her.

My name is Suzzy I am 162.5cms (5'4) and weight 92kg (203lbs)

My goal is 58kg (128lbs)

Ahh yes putting up details of my plan would have been a good idea ;P

My daughter was born by emergency c-section on 16th of March 2013.
At this point in time my plan is to get my eating under control by actually having ATLEAST 3 meals a day instead of just one with a lot of sugary snacks. I am going to cut down the sugary snacks so they are only a small treat once or twice a week. I would cut out sweets all together but I know that I would then crave them more as they are 'forbidden fruit' and excluding the two days a week that I have to work I WILL get out the pram and take my daughter for a walk! :)

Welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on your new baby.

Walking is a really good form of exercise... If was the main exercise that I used in my big project... I swear that I would be 150 pounds heavier if I hadn't taken up walking!!! The fresh air will do you both good and you may even start bumping into people and chatting while you are out and about...

Sometimes food that we think of as healthy can be quite high in calories - so it is probably worth you doing a spot check to see about how many calories you are having in a day... This can be a useful exercise as it can high light some hidden high calorie things and also make us get our portion sizes into line... It can be very easy to eat portions that are too large...

I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends

Good luck with your project.
