Hi!
:) I'm new to this forum.. Saw it on google and decided to give it a bit of a try..

I'm very short, about 5"1 (155cm) and I weight about 155 pounds (70kg)..

I'm considered obese for my height range, but manage to pull it off and look okay with choosing the correct clothes..

I've mentally tried loosing weight for 6 years now.. I'm sick of not seeing results and giving up.. I hope I can stay motivated!

I plan to lose 15kg in 12 weeks which I think is a reasonable effort! =) Nice to meet you guys!
 
Welcome!! I'm 5'1" too, and let me say it is frustrating to gain weight as a short person because it seems a lot more noticeable, doesn't it!? Or maybe that's just us... who knows?

Keep up with your goals! You will be so proud when you see progress! We're all here to help each other stay motivated!!

I'm cutting out (most) junk and relying on fruits, veggies and lean meats to boost my metabolism..

at the moment at the gym I'm doing a standard 5min warmup jog, short session on the weights, and a buildup to a 30 km run following the guide 'Couch to 5k running plane' from

I'm 155cm, or 5"1 and my ideal weight is 50kg or 110kg which is the optimum weight for my height..

my starting weight is 70kg or 154lbs

and i hope to achieve this goal in 6 months, which is losing less than a kilo (or <2.2 pounds) per week. =) ive changed this from my original plan..

shamelessly here is my photo.. :eek2: it looks gross, i know, but if i don't do this, i'll always stay this way..


i'll be posting weekly photos to show my progress.

FIRST of all Pandee your not gross! Hugs to you and welcome to the forums. Second, you can do this! There are many wonderful people on this forum that will help you lose weight and support you. If you ever want to chat just send me a pm sweetie and again welcome! :)

=) thanks so much! I was just watching the pussycat dolls finale and how I'd love to get a body like that.. :) thanks for the tips too! :( chocolate is so hard to give up... cant pm until i post 5 msgs.
 
I feel your pain hun I too and a severe chocoholic, that is hard to give up and you know what else I ADORE, ICE CREAM omg love the stuff! But I gave that up. I love PINK I want a body like hers because she is real, she is not some skinny Nicole Ritchie anorexic lookin waif, she has a fully toned and muscular body which is what I want. And to get that body, I had to give up allot of things. It's not easy sweetie, but you can do it and allot of us here will help you out including me.

I have always hated the way I look and I have a lot lot more to loose than you. I have changed the way I eat so that I can stick to it for life and still enjoy food. I can really notice the difference in just a few months, and I am sure you will see the effects really quickly as you already look pretty good.
Stick with it and gain support from the forum, and everyone will soon want to look like you. :)
