Hey everybody Lisa here.

I was 60 pounds overweight and felt tired all the time with 0 energy and tried some crash diets that never worked.
None of my cloths ever fit right and I was constantly buying cloths just to find ones that fit right. None never did
at least in my eyes.

It got even worst when doctor told me that I was on the edge of diabetes and my blood pressure was through the roof.

It was after that visit that I knew I had to make a change. My life depended on it.

My best friend April had great success losing weight doing "Sara Fitland 5 Day Weight Loss Plan" and has been doing it
for over a year now and lost all her weight.

So since I had a friend doing it, I started doing it about a month ago now and lost 27 pounds so far. The motivation
you get from more energy and your cloths getting loose is a huge motivation for me.

I know I'm going to stick to it this time and lose all the weight and be fit.

I'll post more with my progress.

Hi Lisa, good luck, you'll find a lot of support here. Not familiar with the program you're using, and if it works for your friend, that's great. Note that the real answer is that if you're taking in less calories than you're putting out, you'll lose weight.

As a newly titled diabetic, I can tell you that you'll need to start paying attention to matching carbs to proteins/fats when you eat, and to space your meals/snacks consistently. Your life really doesn't get affected that much, other than smartening up on your food choices - which it sounds like you want to do anyway.

As far as high blood pressure - get your HR up 30 minutes a day, you'll be impressed how it makes a difference. That can be a brisk walk, a hike, some yoga, or if you're in a gym, any of the cardio equipment.
