LJ - That's one of the awesome things about this site. You can post when you're about to cave in and other people like you pull you back. So nice to be able to give and get support when you need it. I'm glad you held strong through your near cheat as well. Keep it up!
The probiotic is called Prescript-Assist. For me, it's good because it's dairy, gluten, soy, etc free. There have been a lot of good reviews of it in the AIP groups I'm in. A lot of people say they've had big changes with digestion (no bloating like some other probiotics) and getting them to be more regular. I figured it fits with what I'm trying to accomplish so I'm giving it a go. It is pricey, but if I'm able to be steady doing one pill a day (the directions say 1-2) than it'll last me twice as long. I'll be starting with one anyway to see how it goes. Time will tell!
MrVee - I do know losing too much too quickly is not good. My frustration was more in the lack of any downward movement for nearly two weeks. If it were even a couple of ounces a day, just having that bit of reassurance that it IS working and I'm on the right path would make a world of difference. I'm just a very antsy and impatient person. Waiting is very hard. LOL
I do completely understand where you're coming from. Reading your diary you never really dwelled on it if you were up a pound or two, not that I can remember anyway. You are one of my biggest inspirations here so I need to take some notes from how you handle your journey.

I just looked at my calendar and it hit me. I have less than 2 weeks of this strict AIP diet to get through, although I will be going until 4/4. At this point, I can gradually start adding foods, HEALTHY foods, back in. It'll be nice to have some favorites back in my diet so long as my body can tolerate them. To do this I'll need to have a really small portion of said food and then wait about 5-7 days to see if I experience any reactions (stomach upset, increased RA pain, headache,... basically any not normal feeling). I'm REALLY anxious to see what happens when I try having some potato (I know it's not THE healthiest, but I'm hoping to add it back for 1-2 meals a month), sweet pepper, and tomato. Unfortunately for me, these are three of the biggest triggers so it may not go well. We'll see... not going to worry about that just yet.
