Let me tell you a story. I've always had a weight and acne problem, because of this, I was always freind-zone'd. I always had female freinds, but Never got the girl. So one day I said Fuck it and decided to better my life. Phase 1, weight loss. It always sucked being the only guy at the beach wearing a shirt. It always sucked not getting any cool clothes my size. So I cut back on what I ate and found two things that have made me truely happy, Skateboarding and Rollerblading. Since Ive started these 2 sports Ive lost close to 50 pounds, have more self confidence, have more courage and my acne has cleared dramatically.

I learned something from skating and rolling, Exercise dosent have to boreing and and hard, just find something physical you love to do and just do it!

My staring weight: 289 pounds
My weight now: 235
I also take pride in the fact that I did it without pills and tuff like that. My goal is to be able to take off my shirt in public without shame.

As for my acne, since Ive changed my diet, its almost gone. At work I feel like im accually taken seriously now. As for the girls, Ive gotten comments from girls saying I look good now...I even went on a date and made out with my date on valentines day LOL.

I feel so much better and everything has just been looking up, losing weight has been the best thing I have ever done. Im feel like I accually attractive now and not some fat acne ridden loser like I used to.

I hope you all like my story, because it was written from the heart, I hope my story can help some one struggling with the same problems, because remember, were all in this together!

I'm glad you found your way and feel more confident and happy. =) I think this is a story that is common to a few of us, even if a bit different. thank you for sharing yours. And good luck with all the rest! :Angel_anim:

It's very possible that women aren't just responding to you because you've lost some weight, but rather how you feel about that weight loss. When you give yourself permission to feel attractive, other people will respond.

Congrats on finding the courage to change.

Good stuff, man! I agree with Plonki; confidence goes a long way. Use that confidence to keep up the good work.

How has it been since you made the changes?

I need an advice

Hello!
I'm new here. I've been browsing tons of forums for an idea of what to do. I was laid off from my job about 3 month ago. I've been looking for a job since then, but did not even get a single interview. I worked as a web designer for a publishing company for the last 5 years. Looks like weight-loss.fitness.com is an active forum with active members and may be someone has some experience working as a freelance web designer. May be this category is not the most appropriate for this question, but I want to try anyways to get some opinions before I go ahead with my life. I'm wondering if it is possible in the current economy to find work for a freelance web designer and make enough to pay for rent and groceries. I was able to find a small project on craigslist and I developed a website for a company. It was a small project and took me only a week to complete. I got paid $800 for 1 week of work which is not bad. Please people give me some ideas. I have 2 kids and my wife is out of work as well. Thank you in advance.
