My intro and how I lost 125lbs...

I found this site from world fittness trainign forum Ive been looking over it for the past few hours just wanted to share my story with everyone here...

onto myself here... Almost exactly one year ago I was 299lbs... as soon as I got out of highschool and stopped playing hockey and pretty much was careless I became quickly obese... Over the past year I have gotten back into my work outs and I have quickly got back down to 175lbs.... I only lost the weight to play college hockey as I really miss organized hockey over the past 2 years :(.... But here are some before and after pics......










and the after a year later!!
 
Wow man, that's a massive change. Congrats! Are you going to maintain from this point forward or is there a certain direction you are planning on heading next with your phsyique?

But Im maintaining 175lbs sometimes less everday but thats my average, I want to put on some muscle but the problem is I play hockey and I am a goalie.. every time I go to put on muscle I end up pulling something due to me having to maintain flexibility.
 
right, but once you get to the point where your putting on more muscle your losing flexibility.. I need to get to that happy medium.

No, that's what I'm saying doesn't happen.

Look at my pictures. I have a good bit of muscle built up. I'm flexible too. More muscle does not directly correlate to less flexibility.... it's a common misconception.

Any program should be well balanced, meaning, any program should contain a strength/muscle building component, cardiovascular, flexibility, etc.
 
Good job! I'm jealous! So... besides getting back to the workouts, what else did you do to lose the weight?
