finally seeing some definition on my waist and it looks great but my husband just looks at me and says chicks with muscles are gross. i secretly think hes jelous im getting somewhere with my fitness but for goodness sake! how rude! is it ok for me to loath him and get even more toned just in spite of him. I gave birth to his child and he cant even admire me for the effort i put in and the change ive made.

A tight tummy on a woman is sexy as hell. It is jealousy 100%. He doesn't want you to look any hotter because he is afraid all the other wolves will come sniffing around, if you get my drift.
 
In my opinion, it's probably jealousy... Even if his personal preference is women without a lot of muscle definition, if it makes you happy, he should be happy and supportive.
 
If it looks healthy it's fine.
