Hello,
I am so glad to have found this forum, i was surfing for a large forum where i can learn the fundamentals and talk to people who are well informed in this area, because i dont have a nearby friend who i can really talk with about fitness.
Dont think anyone would really read this long post, so i will write about me so i can make this my own motivational post.
I am 23 turning 24 this year. I started to get into the gym again after a long 18 month break, left originally because i didn't get the right results and never felt confident in this area, i was only able to lose 8 kilos in a year or more.
I restarted 2 months ago in mid January as my new year resolution because i hated myself and constantly felt uncomfortable in my own skin which is why i was attracting the wrong type of girls and friends to me. I forced myself to change and i realised hitting the gym itself is not enough, i really need to learn the fundamentals to progress places, i lost 6 kilos in 2 1/2 months and i am starting to get the bigger picture and i will get there step by step.
In the next 3 months, i like to be able to train without a personal trainer which i find very expensive because all he does is recommend me supplements and watch over me train (half the time he walks off and talks to people), i like to learn more about the right diet plan, i like to learn more about health in general, i like to quit smoking permanently, i like to continue hitting the gym at least 4 days a week, and.... i like to make some friends on here who i can learn from.
