my diet

I eat typically less than 2000 calories a day. It consists of healthy foods generally.

I some times a lil snack of chips here n there.

My diet

Breakfast about 400 cals. shredded wheat cereal, milk, water, apple

3 hrs later a granola bar.130 cals

lunch sandwich lean meat on wheat bread with mustard. 500 cals

3hrs later protien bar

dinner veggies, meat, one of the healthy choice entrees frozen dinners. bout 350cals

snack b4 7:30 pm another granola bar.

i try not to eat at night time

IS MY DIET ALRIGHT?


I try to go to the gym 4 days a week. I run 20 mins every day and lift 3 days out of the week. Abs every other day.






I am trying to get cut. I read this other guys post about being 155 and 6'1 that is way too skinny and i am scared to get that small. I do want abs though and i heard you need to keep a calorie deficit to kill body fat.

I am 188 right now and 6'2" I want to be 205 all lean muscle.

Should i up my calories or keep the cutting going on.
 
I suggest cutting a bit more (unless your happy now) and then bulking up. Your diet seems to be lacking a bit of protein and healthy fat unless the granola bar has nuts and so on in them.You need waay more veggies and fruits. Also post your pre and post workout meal.
 
my pre workout is a protien shake and same with after. with some fruit along with it.

I do eat nuts everyso often throughout the day. I stay away from bad fatty foods but i do like to get in nuts and avocados every so often. but not too much due to the high calorie content. AS i have read your body needs fat to loose fat beacuse if it is convinced its not getting anymore coming it it will have a tough time letting go of what it has.


some days my cals might be 2300 or sometimes 1700. just depends. if i work out or not.
