My '3 Month Challenge'

Hi there, my first post here! I've heard you're all good, so here goes:

I'm going to America in just under three months with the girlfriend and we've got a couple of days at Florida's famed waterparks pencilled in. Basically, i want to get myself into better visual shape by the time I go.

I'm not expecting to work any miracles. I don't appear to have a particularily fast metabolism after all along with no over-abundance of willpower, but I find that when i set myself clear goals then i can work to them.

The only problem is, i've never tried to lose weight before. This is the one thing i've always wanted to do. I'm not hugely fat, but i'm not close to being skinny. I'm 25, about 6 feet 2, quite broad and weigh approximately 17 stone.

So i'm after a bit of advice really. What's the best diet for someone of my size for primarily weight loss? What exercise is the best way to go? How much should i be eating and how often should i be exercising?

I know very little about this. Any advice would rock.
 
three full body workouts a week. cardio 3-4 days a week. clean up your diet.

All the info can be found in the sticky posts in each forum (what to eat, how to figure out how much to eat, and what exercises to do). The rest is all going to be your level of dedication.
