Muscle body vs Fat body energy spending

Hello.I got in argument with a friend of myn about energy consumption.
We have a 100 kg lean musculed body (lets say 80 kg of muscle prob a bit less+bones+internal organs a bit fat ect).
We have a 160 kg fat body(60kg o muslces+internal ograns ect and lets say 100+-kg of fat.
These booth ppl walk 500 meters at same speed, who will use, burn more energy for this task and why.

Basicly i said that the biggest mass will burn more energy to preform tasks then a smaller mass.
He said that this is true but the biggest the muscle mass the more energy are the muscles using.

If this is both true can we calculate the energy costs with this example?

Both kinda makes sence to me.
Any info?
