Hello to everyone.I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this forum.
For as long as I can remember I've been fighting my weight. All my life I've been overweight. Two years ago I reached the highest peak in my life...115kg(253lbs)...an I was 18.Now I'm 20 and I'm 97kg(213.4lbs).I've been searching the internet for months to find some kind of help.Every website wanted money but didn't offer results.Right now I am really motivated to loose weight and build muscle so I can have a healthy body.I'm a smoker too but I intend to stop them in around 6-7 months.
I decided really to loose weight and build a good body after my girlfriend left me because I was fat...believe me nothing can bring me down but this...
So I am turning to you people here.I'm begging someone to really help me.
I can't maintain strict diets because my body just feels too weak.I know how to eat healthy and what foods to concentrate on evading. My problem is that I don't know what exercises to do...I need good exercises that will work on my whole body...if its possible to loose weight and build up muscle(at least maintain what I have now) it will be awsome...
So I'll be looking forward to your replies and I really hope that I can get help here.I know there is someone out there that expirienced the same things as I do.
Thank you in advance!

Welcome!

Sorry not too many people have replied - those are some big questions you posed about exercises and perhaps no-one posting now feels expert enough to advise. I'm sure there are a lot of great posts on exercise if you search the site. Basics are good - push ups, squats, bench presses, bent over row, etc. In general, for progress in weight training you need to do it at least twice a week. I wish you much success and congratulate you on the weight loss success you have already had!

Hi, the best way to lose weight it to focus of cardio, so power walking running for say 30mins to an hour a day or cycling too, push ups squats and sit ups will help a good toned body however you need to lose the weight first to see the muscle.
hope this helps
becky xx

In my limited experience, I have found it best to make small sustainable changes. Think of how you will act when you are how you want to be - and do it, one small change at a time.
