I love to read.
What is your favorite motivational book?

It can be anything that fires you up, from a fitness book to a book on being the best you can be.

A few of my fav. I have read so far:

Great American Detox
Good Calories Bad Calories
Fittness is Religion
Having it All
The Okinawa Program
Awaken the Giant Within
Supersize Me
Winning by Losing
Stop the Insanity
The 9 Truths about Weight Loss
Dynamic Health (like it' but he's a bit over in left field also)

these are some of my very fav, If it's something I refer back to again and again, it's a fav.

Presently reading: The New Optimum Nutrition Bible

What's your fav?

I find Zest magazine really good each month. When I am stalling to pull on my trainers and exercise, reading a few pages usually gives me the motivational nudge I need!

One of my favorites I have read recently is "Eat Pray Love". It's not at all a weight loss book, but just one of those that is light spirited and gives you a chuckle. Reminded me that I am strong enough to do anything! :hurray:

I really like the old Dale Carnegie books that have been in-print for years. My particular favourite is:

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living

It's amazing how humans seem to reinvent the wheel in every generation, Carnegie quotes some 19th century personalities who found the same thing--stay in the present.

It may not be specific motivation for dieters but it sure helps with some of the causes of emotional eating, and therefore might be helpful to some of you.

Chris Moon "One Step Beyond"

This person is the best motivational speaker that I have heard...

He can convince anyone that we can do the impossible.
