time for change

Hi I'm new here
I need to lose about 5-8 percent body fat for health. My body is slow to respond to weight loss, but I know once I get a routine, that it will work it has before. My trouble is getting myself back in the healthy eating workout lifestyle. I eat rather healthy actaully: fresh and raw fruits and veggies, good fats, low carb. My problem is, I like to drink...So stopping or cutting way back on that will be totally essential for my health and wieght loss. I am stuck in my habits...but ready to make a change.
Any words of advice or encouragment or stories on how to start making these changes would be great. I am a drivin person, just developed some bad habits...Once I make a transition into a different habit I know I'll stick to it, Ugh, how do I get my actions to line up with my mind...I guess that would be my body. I've been bad to it and now it's not happy with me
