Does it really make that much of a difference if the goal is fat loss to work out first thing in the morning? This is without eating right? Has anyone done it both ways to see which is more effective? In my best shape, and lowest weight I used to workout at 5am but since having kids thats become harder. I'd like to get back to it, especially if someone convinces me! Right now I work out around 8:30 after taking my daughter to school and I do have to say, my progress has been slower than I'm used to. the biggest thing i hate about it is that its too late in the morning to go to the gym empty (in order to get all meals in) and I usually have to do a lesser intensity cardio session due to having had recently eaten. I dont' like having to wrap my meals around a workout. I'd rather do it and get it done with first thing. What is best? What is proven best?
