your weight might go up it might not.. every woman's cycle is different... keep track of your weigh in a spreadsheet and make note of your cycle init -and you will know better than anyone how it will be effected
 
My weight always goes up 2 or 3 pounds and my clothes are noticeably tighter. I always freak out thinking I'm gaining a bunch of weight but it goes away 2 or 3 days into it. I've heard to be extra careful to stay away from carbonated beverages and foods with a high sodium content, who knows how much of a difference that will make though.
 
I have the same issue; however I find that when I stay away from salt and drink plenty of water I do not feel bloated during the cycle. Also taking midol helps me. I start taking midol 5 days before my cycle begins and this helps keep my mood and my bloating in control.
