Hello All! I am a new member here and i hope it helps. i had a baby girl 1 year ago and i thought i would be smaller by now than i am. I just can't see to stay on a diet for more that a week and i will work out about 2 times a week which isn't enough i know. i just feel very discouraged and frustrated. any ideas on which diets are the most effective and healthy? Is weight watchers good? i have also heard about a weight loss clinic in georgia, i think they give vitamin B-12 shots which help you to loose weight. anyone have any info on these? to all of you who are mothers....when you loose weight will the stretch marks on your stomach from being pregnant go away?? thanks again!!:p :p

Heya's and welcome Emily'smom! It is hard I have had 4 children
my youngest being 8 month's and the weight seems to pile on
until you change the way you eat and add a little exersicing which
I like to walk which is a gr8 easy exersice!
I am doing my own dieting but I do eat a few of the weigh watchers
deserts and meals but I also like lean cuisine to but as far as points
not sure on how it works.I count calories and try to stay around
1200.
There are quite a few people on here that uses WW and could tell you
more about it plus they have the website.
Goodluck to ya and keep us posted,Tammy:)

Emily'smom I am new here too and just read your post. I am from Georgia too. A friend did the weight loss clinic with the b-12 shots. she lost a ton of weight but it was expensive and once she wasn't doing it anymore she gained the weight back. That has been my problem as well. The thing I'm trying to learn is it is a lifestyle change not just a diet.

Hello and welcome! I am a mother of 2, my first is 18 months and my second is 7 weeks. So I am just starting out on trying to lose my pregnancy weight. I didn't lose any weight from my first pregnancy so I have a lot to lose. What I am doing is for my first week I am just changing my diet, I count my calories and what not and try to eat as healthy as possible. Next week I am going to start exercising but I am going to take it slow. If you take it slow I think it is easier to do. That way you don't get to much over your head. I have tried many diets and I would start out trying to watch what I eat and exercising every day and it would only last a week or two. So I am doing good so far, it has only been a week but I still have to want to keep going. Well I wish you luck! Also about the B-12 shots, is B-12 like something you could find in a pill form and if so can you take the pills to help lose weight?? Thanks!!

Stephanie
