Hi!

I would love to become a model, and I have the height, I am photogenic, but my down fall is my weight. I am 5'10 and I weigh about 149 pounds. I recently got a gym membership and have been working out everyday. I want to drop a couple sizes but I don't want to do it in an unhealthy way.

Any advice?

i'm kinda not an expert on this, i don't even know the ideal body weight of a model to be. maybe a trip to the gym would make sense, a trainor could be more knowledgeable on this part.

Diet counts for more then exercise if your looking to lose weight. Just monitor what you eat, don't eat any junk: everything you eat, make sure its value nutrition not just anything to fit the calories you allowing yourself that day and make sure you drink plenty but not too much.

I have to say your weight doesn't look bad and wonder what weight your wanting to be? I have worked in another side of the fashion industry and its not about how photogenic you are but more who you know, what you can do (for free) and what you can offer other people in the way of contacts and boosting their mood. Its a very supificial and empty world, and thats the high street fashion- catwalks are far worse and usually include drugs, addictions and eating disorders.

Please be careful what your getting yourself in to!
