Mmmmmmmmmmmm Bread!

So, where I work they make DELICIOUS flatbread and focacia bread daily - and per request, also. I am addicted to it. I just cannot stop eating it LOL I had two small slices of the flatbread (dry) already today. Ugh. Do we think its worth it to have it and just work it off as much as possible throughout the day and at the gym tonight? I just cannot help myself!

IMHO, bread is not a quality carb. There are far better foods out there that will fulfill your carb requirements.

Eating those two particular breads will most likely make your weight loss journey a lot tougher for you.

Just my $0.02.
 
im with ya, im abit of a "bread-head" looool , tiz good stuff, tend too go for wholegrain if i can and eat 2 peices for brekkie but not so sure if its the best idea just yet :p
 
Some days I'll eat just sandwiches if I'm feeling lazy, that's around 10 pieces of bread in one day. I keep it all within my calorie level and I do just fine.
 
as far as iv come too learn..calories in vs out is what will affect weight loss, but as too if its optimum is another question. i guess carb tolerance effects things too.

Yeah that's how I went about my weight loss. When I do eat cards it's wholegrain. I don't know if it's optimum or not but I've reached my goal weight in decent time. I'm pretty impressed going from 30 BMI to 20. I'm going to have to get my body fat % measured again soon, last time I had that done was when I was 199 lbs.

Totally agree.

Maybe that could be your treat to yourself once a month or something.
